A mortgage pre-qualification letter is a lender’s non-binding estimate of a mortgage that may or may not be backed by borrower documentation.  A pre-qualification can be based on a borrower’s verbal representations regarding income, debt to income ratios, credit scores, and net worth.  It merely estimates the amount of mortgage the borrower may be eligible to obtain if the information provided by the borrower is true.

Pre-approval on the other hand, means that the lender is ready to go forward with the mortgage based on all of supporting documentation provided.  Typically, the lender has obtained tax returns, financials, and credit scores and the borrower is pre-approved for a mortgage falling within a certain price range.    The lender’s pre-approval

Resort property is defined as follows:

Property that lends itself to vacationers, recreation or leisure activity because of its natural resources or beauty, or its improvements.  Waterfront homes, hunting parcels and golf course frontage are just a few examples of what would be considered resort property.

The west Michigan area has plenty of these types of properties available due to our wonderful Lake Michigan shoreline and all of our inland lakes, rivers and other waterways. The vast forests and abundance of golf courses throughout our part of the state lend themselves to those of us who wish to enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer.

There are obviosly a great number of Realtors in west Michigan that you could chose to represent you
